Rainbow Dreams Educational Foundation was established February 29, 2008 as a charitable organization to improve lives and create opportunities for Young people in southern Nevada. It began as a means to address the needs of underserved youth by providing scholarships to high school graduates deserving to pursue a higher educational level. Each year deserving high school graduates are selected by a committee of educators, business and community leaders to be recipients of Rainbow Dreams Scholarships.

The Foundation will work to secure long term financial support for the continued presence of Rainbow Dreams Academy as the model for exemplary education in our community for future generations. The Foundation will work in conjunction with our community to develop awareness and appreciation for our cultural differences.

Each year deserving high school graduates are selected by a committee of educators, business and community leaders to be recipients of Rainbow Dreams Scholarships. Our scholarship recipients have graduates form Historically Black Colleges and Universities as well as the University of Nevada Las Vegas, University of Nevada Reno and Standard University. They have become leaders in the fields of education, medicine, engineering , politics, law and business.

The unparalleled success of Rainbow Dreams Academy has given birth to the creation of the Rainbow Dreams Educational Foundation. The foundation will secure long term financial support for the continued presence of the Academy in the community for future generations. In addition, the Rainbow Dreams Educational Foundation will expand its scope of service to enhance educational and culturally specific activities for children and families in a structured effort to develop awareness and appreciation for the diverse community that its serves.
